We had always dreamed of having a wine cellar that we could walk into and enjoy the site of our wine collections. Our previous wine cellars were the under the porch type hidden in the unfinished part of basement. After months of planning, we turned our project over to Eric Schuller and his team at Capital Cellars. We know little of construction but realized it can be stressful. We left on an extended holiday a few days before the construction was to begin, gave our house key to Eric and hoped we would not be disappointed. We returned 2 months later to our wine cellar that not only met but exceeded our expectations. The cellar is now part of our living space. The construction was absolutely perfect. The installation of the slate, stone, granite, special ceiling and the racking system was all according to plan. Capital Cellars had even gone as to have our house cleaned after construction. We are very proud of our cellar and kudos the Capital Cellar for pulling it off. And we should point, not a single penny in extras.

Throughout the entire process (from design to installation) Eric and his team where very professional. Eric’s attention to detail is very impressive especially at the installation stage; Eric and his team made sure that every section was properly installed with no visible cracks or nails. As well, they were very respectful to our household and made sure every piece of sawdust was cleaned upon the termination of the work. We have no problem recommending Capital Cellars for any size or style of cellars.  

Just a quick note to let you know I got the door yesterday. It is everything I hoped it would be – absolutely beautiful. It is the nicest door in our house!
